Eco Committee
Monday, 26 February 2018
On Monday 19th February the Eco Committee carried out a litter pick within the school and church grounds. Unfortunately they found lots of plastic bottles which appeared to have been thrown over the fence into the church grounds. Two members of the committee spoke to the children during the school assembly about this issue and reminded them of how important it is to use the bins in our playground.

Rag Bag Collection
Our Rag Bag collection was a great success. Thank you to all the families who donated their unwanted textiles. This encourages us to recycle our unwanted goods while raising money for the school👍. We will update with the amount of money raised at a later date.

School Garden
Our school grounds are looking fabulous for Summer and the bees are loving our Red Hot Pokers. It is so important that we plant flowers which encourage bees into our gardens. The children in Primary 6 did try to count the number of bees, easier said than done 😂 and managed to count a total of 144 (approximately).
